Talenten Liedjes

Talentenliedjes die klinken in mijn oren, talentenliedjes je zou ze moeten horen…

Al zo lang als ik me kan herinneren gaat vrij associëren met woorden, beelden en muziek me makkelijk af. Ik was van ons muzikale gezin het minst geïnteresseerd in het bespelen van een muziekinstrument, maar ik luisterde altijd graag naar muziek en verzon soms spontaan eigen zinnetjes bij de liedjes op de radio. Bij interactie in een ontspannen sfeer komen er vaak spontaan flarden van verschillende liedjes in mijn hoofd op. Dat leverde me de dankbare bijnaam ‘walking juke-box’ op.

Ik ben een ‘walking juke-box’.

In de afgelopen jaren heb ik vele talentgerichte teksten geschreven op bestaande nummers. Soms over talent met een algemene boodschap, maar ook vaak passend bij de talenten en wensen van een dierbare. Ook van enkele inspirerende boeken heb ik een samenvatting op muziek gemaakt.

In 2018 schreef ik deze tekst en na minder dan een jaar zangles bracht ik deze voor het eerst met publiek ten gehore. Sindsdien is mijn zangkunst flink ontwikkeld, dus heb ik vorig jaar opnieuw de tekst ingezongen.

Playing for Success

In 2016 ontmoette ik Erwin voor het eerst tijdens een basketballclinic voor Playing for Success. Na afloop spraken we over zijn passies basketball en muziek en zijn verleden en opleidingsmogelijkheden. We hebben altijd contact gehouden en zijn intensiever gaan samenwerken, toen ik de muziek ontdekte. Erwin heeft nu 2 videoclips voor me gemaakt en ik ben trots op hoe wij succesvol samenspelen.

It came to my mind that the treasures I hide may come alive by aiming higher
When I sit alone thought of what I know I wanted to share it in this world

Deze tekst heb ik geschreven op basis van ervaringen met Hoogsensitiviteit en verdieping in de psychologische achtergronden. Het is ingezongen door mijn zanglerares Jody Bhe.

Sinds de aanloop van de oorlog in Oekraïne kwam het liedje ‘Ze zijn terug’ van De Jazzpolitie regelmatig in mijn gedachten op. Na alle kritiek op ons Nationaal basketballteam, dat in en tegen Rusland moest spelen, volgde al vlot deze tekst.

Als het Avond is (Suzan & Freek)

Vaak voel jij je slecht als je ’s avonds niet meer echt spraakzaam bent
Protest van een deel al die prikkels zijn teveel dan word jij stil
